April 9–26, 2018
Florence, Siena, and San Gimignano
23 max capacity
April 9th – 17th and again April 18th – 26th we will host a group of 23 guests in the region that has inspired so many artists and writers. We will stay in two, five-star Tuscan villas and venture out daily to “locals only” restaurants. Our group will meet— and visit with— the most famous chefs and winemakers in the area, and “go underground” to the places only locals frequent. We will tour a 600-year old family winery and visit a world-class, state-of-the-art winery run by a family now in its 26th generation. We will learn how pecorino cheese, balsamic vinegar, and olive oil is made, and we will visit the historic and beautiful cities of Florence, Siena, and San Gimignano. We will eat some of the best food in the world and see art by the masters in the place where the Renaissance was born. And we have a couple of surprises in store, too.
Those who are interested in art and painting will spend time in classes with Wyatt Waters painting in the region that inspired his beautiful work in our book “An Italian Palate.”
It is an all-inclusive trip. ALL EXPENSES from the time you land in Florence, until the time you depart— EVERYTHING: food, wine, lodging, museum tickets, luxury transportation, guides, and all art supplies for those painting with Wyatt— is covered. We have learned that people like to book their own airfare because some like to arrive a few days early to visit Rome or Venice before taking the train to Florence. Still others like to take advantage of points or upgrades. If needed, we can recommend a great travel agent to help you with your flight. You will just need to be in the Florence airport by noon on April 10th or April 19th.
