Because of my love for animals, I always THOUGHT I'd like to be a vegetarian. After I was forced into it after gastric bypass surgery, I know I will always eat meat as long as it is available to me. After three months without meat, and the next phase was "soft" poultry/fish, a chicken Vienna sausage tasted as good as a ribeye.

Grilled portabellas and grilled eggplant are both excellent meat substitutes. Had a black bean burger for lunch at Huey's in Southaven today that was awesome.

Don't forget the avocado and eggplant. Both are more filling veggies and can (sort of) replace meat. I tried the vegetarian thing (for 2 weeks) and only made it due to avocado sandwiches and eggplant parmesan!

I'm a veggie myself (well, technically, ovo-lacto-pescatarian, as I do have eggs, can't live without good cheese, and do not disdain the odd bite of wild-caught salmon) and can tell you that you're absolutely spot-on about vegetarians gaining weight!

Happens all the time---bread, cheese, pasta, sweets, loaded baked taters contain no meat, but enough of them thangs and it's Fat City!

I've had no meat (and really, only sparing amounts of the above-named items) for about 15 years now, weigh exactly what I did in college, and at my first colonoscopy was pronounced to have "a perfect colon." Doc strongly believes that more people would benefit from at least limiting animal fats.

For me it was not health concerns, but the cruel-slaughter-factory-farm issue that put me off the *au jus* and fried chicken. I'm not a PETA extremist, but...probably could be, if I weren't so lazy, and didn't love my leather Ferragamos and my two fur coats:):)! So, yeah, I'm a hypocrite. But I DO have that perfect plumbin'!:):)

I look forward to following your progress!

We ate at Crescent City in H'burg on Monday. I live in Jackson and hadn't eaten there in several months. The food and service is always excellent, but it constantly improves. Thanks for the wonderful meal. The grilled and chilled chicken salad is one of my favorites.

Generic Viagra is the world renowned medicine for erectile dysfunction and most men have forgotten they ever had a problem with erections after its use. Take it on empty stomach and it will work in 30 minutes. Erections can be achieved on stimulation.
